The Korean women's community held polls on popular forums to find the most iconic members of several groups. V is referred to as the representative or face of BTS.
BTS (Bangtan Boys) is undoubtedly a group that has gained popularity all over the world, and it's rare that people don't know them. V is called the representative or face of the group, but many disagree for some reason.
The Korean women's community held polls on popular forums to find the most iconic members of several groups. According to the poll, BLACKPINK's Jennie (Black Pink), TWICE's Nayeon, Red Velvet's Irene, SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan (II), NCT's Taeyong and Sungchan emerged as the most iconic members of their respective groups.
For BTS, V was chosen as the member that even the general public recognizes the most without having any prior knowledge of him. The owner of the name Kim Taehyung received 36 percent of the vote and was dubbed the most iconic mascot or member.
V is the first member to attract attention on stage. Many BTS fans admit that they only noticed V at first and fell in love with his beautiful voice and cute charm. V is also the most handsome man in the world, and that makes it even more difficult not to notice him.
Although his popularity is extraordinary, many netizens do not agree if V is called the most iconic member. Many believe that RM (Rap Monster) is more representative of BTS both in South Korea and internationally.
"It's hard to choose one member who stands out the most in BTS, but I think RM is the most iconic," commented netizen. "BTS reminds me of RM, I agree with the comments that he is the face of BTS," added another netizen.
"The maknae trio is a fan attractor. Honestly RM is the core of BTS. I think what makes BTS stand out is the lyrics that RM wrote mostly. Most of the ideas behind their songs also came from RM," wrote netizens.
"The most popular maknae trio but the icon that really represents BTS is RM because of his style and songs, and even the things the band stands for mostly reflect RM's philosophy, I think. So I think RM is the most prominent member in BTS." said another.
"It's hard to choose just one for BTS. Each member brings something unique to the group. I would say the maknae line is very popular internationally, but in Korea, RM has been an icon of BTS since pre-debut," concluded another.
