The news of Lee Kwang Soo's exit from "Running Man" has indeed left grief for his loyal fans. Moreover, Lee Kwang Soo is known to be a permanent member of "Running Man" since it premiered in 2010.
Lee Kwang Soo decided to leave "Running Man" to focus on healing his physical and mental health. He has also recorded the last episode on (24/5).
The new episode of "Running Man" which aired yesterday, Sunday (30/5) was seen showing the recording when Lee Kwang Soo's news came out. The funny thing is, the members of "Running Man" are busy teasing Lee Kwang Soo for the news.
[SPOILER] The "Running Man" members were seen calling Lee Kwang Soo discussing his decision to leave the show. They seem to pretend that they don't know Lee Kwang Soo's decision at all.
"How can you eat?" asked Yang Se Chan. "I heard you resigned?" asked Yoo Jae Seok. "So you're going to leave 'Running Man'? Please tell us what you think," said Song Ji Hyo.
Not only flirting over the phone, the "Running Man" members also continued to do it after meeting Lee Kwang Soo face to face. They also teased about Lee Kwang Soo's long hair, who was said to look sad because he left "Running Man".
"Did you lengthen your facial hair to look like you were having a hard time because you withdrew from 'Running Man?'" Joked Kim Jong Kook. "Please get me a razor," said Lee Kwang Soo to the staff out of annoyance.
HaHa also joked about whether this was his last recording, but Lee Kwang Soo clarified to the viewers, "I still have two weeks of footage left." HaHa said in a mocking tone, "Cry now."
Lee Kwang Soo himself became a permanent member of "Running Man" from the start along with Yoo Jae Seok, HaHa, Kim Jong Jook, Ji Suk Jin, Gary, and Song Joong Ki. Song Ji Hyo became a permanent member after several episodes. Song Joong Ki then left "Running Man" in episode 41 and Gary withdrew in 2016.
