Girl group songs are currently being watched by Korean music fans. Evidently, several old songs from a number of girl groups are known to have skyrocketed on the music chart even though they were released years ago. LABOUM is one of the girl groups whose old songs have returned to appear on the chart.

Five years after its release, LABOUM will probably return to music shows to perform their song "Journey to Atlantis". Not a new song, "Journey to Atlantis" is an old song from LABOUM which was released in 2016.

After Brave Girls recently skyrocketed to fame due to the sudden surge in popularity of their song "Rollin" in 2017, it looks like LABOUM may be following in their footsteps. Like "Rollin", LABOUM's 2016 title song "Journey to Atlantis" quickly climbed back into the Korean charts.

Fans are eager to wonder if the group will ever return to music shows to perform the hit hit that is rising. Yesterday, Wednesday (31/3), LABOUM's agency Global H Media responded to the speculation by stating. They said they were discussing it.

“Due to the sudden increasing popularity of LABOUM 'Journey to Atlantis', we are currently discussing the possibility of appearing on a music show (to perform the song), but that has yet to be confirmed. With the hope of repaying fans' support, we are discussing possible appearances, "said the agency representative.

Although "Journey to Atlantis" has long been a fan favorite and received much love from soldiers serving in the military, it remains largely unknown to the general public. But this year the song suddenly took the spotlight and was even called a "hidden gem."

This is the same with Brave Girls. Not only dominating the charts, thanks to the song “Rollin”, the girl group has even just set a new record for the longest cumulative time that the girl group that has Perfect All Kill (PAK) has.

Not only is Brave Girls' first perfect all kill since their debut, but also the second perfect all kill that has been achieved in 2021 so far. The first song to hit a perfect all kill was IU's "Celebrity" which was released in January.

This is an unprecedented achievement for a group that debuted in 2011. This sudden success came after a YouYube video featuring their song performance went viral. Their song "Rollin" then soared on the South Korean music charts four years after its first release in 2017. (wk / daughter)
