In addition to the sweet voice, Rose BLACKPINK (Black Pink) was also awarded a beautiful face. However, BLACKPINK's makeup artist, Lee Myung Sun, revealed why applying makeup to Rose's pretty face was such a difficult task.
Lee Myung Sun recently sat down with Allure Korea for an interview. In the interview, he was asked about the different looks Rose saw in the MV for his debut solo song, "On The Ground".
One of the questions that was asked to her was about Rose's skin which is very smooth and beautiful. Lee Myung Sun surprisingly shared how Rose's skin made it so hard to do her job.
"Rose's skin is like egg white. The skin is amazing but it will be difficult to apply basic makeup. The skin is very smooth, and the pores are so tight that it looks like they are removing foundation," said Lee Myung Sun.
Lee Myung Sun then revealed how he combats this particular problem with makeup. He outsmarted by quickly putting a nice foundation on Rose's face so that it sticks to her skin.
"With a good foundation, I quickly put it on so that it sticks to the skin. Giving too much touch actually makes the skin 'reject' the foundation, so I want to reduce the touch with the base," said Lee Myung Sun.
In other news, Rose appeared on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and was asked about her pet dog Hank's favorite food and color. Rose laughed and excitedly told the audience more about her pet.
"Her favorite food is all kinds of dog treats. We give her all these treats. She likes anything. Anything to do with food. And yes, her favorite color? I don't know. I'll ask her that," said Rose. (wk / dewi)
