DAY6 continues to prepare for their comeback by releasing a comeback teaser film. As is well known, DAY6 announced that they will be making their long-awaited comeback with a new album next month.
The five members of the band will make a comeback with "The Book of Us" which officially marks the end of their group hiatus. Previously after announcing their comeback, the boy band released a teaser poster.
Today, Wednesday (31/3), DAY6 continues with a teaser preview showing that their album will be titled "The Book of Us: Negentropy". The video looks interesting and creative because it is filled with animated light explanations about the album theory.
There is an easy-to-understand narrative regarding the meaning of the album as well as what fans can expect from the album. The release date has been set for April 19 KST, which is certainly making many fans eagerly look forward to it.
DAY6 made their last comeback as a full group with "The Book of Us: The Demon" in May 2020, but the band did not promote the album. This is because the members have temporarily halted all group activities so that Jae and Sungjin can take the time to focus on their mental health.
Later that year, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon released "The Book of Us: Gluon - Nothing can tear us" as the new subunit of DAY6 (Even of Day). Since then, the members have been busy with their individual activities. While the leader, Sungjin, is known to have left for his military service.
DAY6 itself debuted on September 7, 2015, with the album "The Day", which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard World Albums Chart a week after its release. The band consists of five members namely Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon.
The group was originally a six-member band, but keyboardist Junhyeok left in February 2016. All members of DAY6 are mostly known to be involved in the writing, composing, and production of the band's music. (wk / daughter)
