'True Beauty' is Prepared to Replace 'Tale Of The Nine Tailed' Slots On TvN Wednesday - Thursday Night. The plan, the drama which also stars Hwang In Yeob will begin airing on December 9th.
Ahead of the premiere of "True Beauty", the production team held a press conference on Wednesday (2/12). The event was attended by the director and its cast, including Cha Eunwoo and Moon Ga Young.
During the program, Cha Eun Woo talked about his character Su Ho and the efforts he put into perfecting the role. "You may feel that he looks similar to the character in my previous drama 'My ID Is Gangnam Beauty', but the story itself is different and Su Ho is a little more energetic," said the ASTRO member.
"I'm trying to do a good job of conveying how much he also enjoys sports. I talked a lot with the director about this and that and I worked out a lot and worked hard at jiu jitsu and basketball," he said.
Cha Eunwoo then shared his experience working with Moon Ga Young. Besides being happy to be able to work with goods, Cha Eunwoo also praised the 24-year-old actress's acting skills.
"When I first heard that I would be acting with Moon Ga Young, I was amazed. I thought Moon Ga Young would do a great job playing Joo Kyung and it would make (the drama) entertaining," he said.
Cha Eunwoo then gave a score of 99 percent for the similarities of the four main characters of "True Beauty" with the characters in the webtoon. "The four of us are one. The other one percent will be finished when the drama ends," he concluded.
Meanwhile, "True Beauty" tells the story of high school student Lim Joo Kyung (Moon Ga Young) who looks pretty after putting on makeup. She experiences a heart-fluttering love story with the only man who knows her real face without makeup.
On the other hand there is a young man named Lee Su Ho, played by Cha Eunwoo. He has everything from looks, intelligence to basketball skills. Everyone falls in love with him but he has no interest in other people.
The drama itself is prepared to replace the broadcast slot "Tale of the Nine Tailed" on Wednesday - Thursday night tvN. The plan, the drama, which also stars Hwang In Yeop, will start airing on December 9.
