ASTRO's Cha Eunwoo shared whether he was ever sick of people telling him how handsome he was when he attended the press conference for his new drama.
TvN's new drama webtoon adaptation “True Beauty” held an online press conference on December 2nd. ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo shared his honest thoughts on whether he was ever fed up with people telling how handsome he was.
During the press conference, Cha Eunwoo talked about playing Lee Suho who is a character. Suho is a "perfect" character who is not only handsome, but also outstanding at sports and studying.
Cha Eunwoo said, "Since Suho is a perfect character who is so cool in every way, it would be a lie to say I didn't feel any pressure playing with him."
The 1997-born idol and actor continued, "Well, I believe there is something we can show in a drama that is not possible in a webtoon. Suho can definitely express himself more in a drama."
Then, Cha Eunwoo was asked, "There are many similarities between you and Suho, including his appearance. Have you ever been sick of hearing people say that you are handsome?"
Cha Eunwoo shyly laughed and replied, "I'm so grateful that so many people think that way about me." The drama star "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" added with a smile, "I'm not too disgusted, and don't think I'll be tired of hearing it."
Meanwhile, "True Beauty" also stars Moon Ga Young, Hwang In Yeop and Park Yoo Na. This drama airs from December 9 every Wednesday and Thursday night on tvN.
"True Beauty" tells of Lim Joo Kyung (Moon Ga Young), a high school student who looks beautiful after using makeup to cover her real face. She experiences a heart-shaking love story for the only man who knows her real face without makeup. Lee Suho is the perfect handsome guy who fell in love with Joo Kyung not because of his pretty appearance.
