'Ask Us Anything' Has Been Presenting Many Popular K-Pop Groups as Guest Stars. But Not Long ago, South Korean Netizens Highlighted the Differences in Each K-Pop Group Coming.
"Ask Us Anything" has a lot of popular K-Pop groups as guest stars. But not long ago, South Korean netizens highlighted the apparent differences of each coming K-Pop group.
The difference is that not all K-Pop groups who come to "Ask Us Anything" use a nametag. Some groups such as BTS (Bangtan Boys), BTOB, Twice, G-Friend, Mamamoo, Red Velvet, Black Pink (BLACKPINK) to AOA appear to use nametags.
While other groups such as Sistar, Girl's Day, SNSD (Girls' Generation), SHINee to Super Junior are seen not using nametags. This makes South Korean netizens to debate about the reasons for the differences.
"They are all (who don't use nametags) from generation 2 K-Pop."
"My favorite idol group is from generation 3 and they also didn't wear a nametag when they guested on this show."
"Oh, I think I understand. I know all their names even when they don't use name tags. By the way, what is BTOB doing in the picture."
"Yes, because we know all their names (that's why you don't need to use a nametag)."
"Biasku did not have a nametag when she guested with other actors / actresses, but she used a nametag when she guested with her group."
"TVXQ also did not have a nametag when it became a guest on this program. I guess idols from generation 2 don't need a nametag anymore."
"I thought if the members of 'Ask Us Anything' already knew all their names, they wouldn't use a nametag? Or would it depend on their popularity among the general public?"
"I don't think they need to use a nametag if the members of 'Ask Us Anything' recognize each group member who becomes a guest star."
"Because idols from generation 2 are doing solo activities now."
"Red Velvet did not have a nametag when he was the last guest on the show!"
