Not long ago, Mnet released a video behind the scene of its new survival program entitled "I-LAND". The 3:41 minute video was accompanied by the theme song "Into the I-LAND" which was delivered by the participants.
The video shows the moment when the trainees took a profile photo shoot. Before the photoshoot took place, the young trainees were seen being made up. Some trainees looked serious, some others looked very cheerful and occasionally smiled kindly towards the camera.
Even though when they were photographed they transformed into cool and cool adult men, behind the cameras these trainees were like boys who liked to joke and have fun. No less interesting, the trainees also looked very handsome and impressive in the video.
Meanwhile, "I-LAND" is a collaborative project between Big Hit Entertainment and CJ ENM. This event will follow the journey of 23 talented trainees, 12 of whom will debut as a new boy group.
In its inaugural episode that aired on Friday (6/26), 7 out of 23 participants had failed to enter "I-LAND" based on their initial appearance. Those who fail must go to the "ground", a training center with a different structure. While the remaining 16 trainees must vote to determine the final 12 participants who will occupy the luxury training center "I-LAND".
Because the competition and elimination process in the first episode of "I-LAND" is quite tight, there are many netizens who protest. The reason is they did not accept the idol trainees immediately sent to the "ground" even though only a few minutes appeared.
