The second season of 'Arthdal Chronicles' continues to be awaited by the audience. Previously, tvN promised to start production in the second half of 2020.
But according to a number of reports in South Korea, the production of 'Arthdal Chronicles' must be delayed because of COVID-19. It is known that a number of film and drama productions in Korea must be stopped because of an endless pandemic.
TVN had previously planned to release the second season of 'Arthdal Chronicles' in 2021. But the drama was recently excluded from the list of dramas to be released in 2021.
Regarding this, the production studio, Studio Dragon, said the plan for the release of the second season of 'Arthdal Chronicles' was still undecided. Until now, the production side continues to discuss this issue.
"Plans to release the second season of 'Arthdal Chronicles' are unclear because of COVID-19. We are still continuing to discuss the production schedule," the studio said.
Previously, tvN announced the second season of 'Arthdal Chronicles' would be directed by Kim Kyu Tae and Hong Jong Chan.
Kim Kyu Tae previously successfully directed a number of popular dramas such as 'Iris' to 'That Winter, The Wind Blows'. While Hong Jong Chan had worked in the production of 'Life' to 'Her Private Life'. (dal / imk)
