The drama 'Kkondae Intern' on MBC will postpone the airing of the final episode.
According to representatives from the MBC, "The last episode" Kkondae Intern "scheduled for June 25, 2020, will not air because there is a broadcast commemorating 70 years since the Korean War. The final episode will air on July 1, 2020 with a duration of 90 minutes. "
In South Korea, the Korean War is commemorated every June 25, as the war began on June 25, 1950.
Meanwhile, based on data cited from Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of 'Kkondae Intern' which aired on Wednesday (6/24) received an average rating of 4.8% and 6.6% for both parts.
This rating is higher when compared to previous episodes, which touched 5.1% and 6.1%. However, the rating still does not exceed the highest rating since the broadcast which is at 9%.
On the same day, KBS2's 'Fix You' drama received 2% and 2.5%. Whereas two cable television dramas, 'Oh My Baby' on tvN and 'Mystic Pop-up Bar' on JTBC received 1.6% and 2.7% respectively. (www.kpopchart.net)
