After several delays due to the global pandemic COVID-19, KCON 2020 finally found their last solution. This annual Korean music festival some time ago was reported to be held in an online format under the name KCON: TACT SUMMER 2020.

KCON: TACT SUMMER 2020 will reportedly feature many special performances, including collabs, units, covers, and more. KCON: TACT 2020 SUMMER is an online event that will run from 20 to 26 June, where Mnet will air a marathon stream of live and pre-recorded content for seven full days on YouTube.

This event will include free content and paid content for those who buy membership. This music concert will incorporate a mix of live performances by K-pop artists, meet-and-greet sessions, influencer-led panels, interactive programs, and more.

The week-long event offers a series of displays from MONSTA X, G-Friend, IZ * ONE, LOONA, Stray Kids, Kang Daniel, MAMAMOO, (G) I-DLE, Kim Chung Ha, ITZY, TXT, and many more. In addition to displaying line-up performances, this event will also present a variety of collaborations and special stage acts.

The event will later feature a reunion of Wanna One members Kim Jae Hwan and Park Woo Jin AB6IX with special collaboration. Meanwhile MONSTA member X Joohoney and I.M will appear as hip hop units. LOONA and ATEEZ will each include "Cherry Bomb" NCT 127 and EXO "Growl".

Fans will also be able to see shows that have never been seen before from LOONA, VERIVERY, A.C.E, AB6IX, and VICTON. Ahead of their comeback on June 23rd, Golden Child will be performing their new songs "ONE" and "OMG".

ITZY will perform "Nobody Like You" for the first time and G-Friend will create their hit "Rough" as a ballad song. The seven groups from "Road to Kingdom" will also display their impressive performances from this series.

Many groups that performed live at the event will also participate in online meet and greet sessions with fans. These sessions will use different AR technologies to help fans and artists interact in new ways.

This technology also creates events where fans can sing and dance with these artists. A one-on-one video call interview will also be opened to around 5,000 fans worldwide.

KCON STUDIO will also feature collaborative content from artists and YouTubers. ONEUS will participate in random play dance with child dancers and YouTuber Awesome Haeun. VERIVERY will hold a K-pop school dance idol with YouTuber Park Mak Rye. This event will also touch K-beauty with EVERGLOW and beauty YouTuber SSIN.

All production will be done at Mnet's studio in Seoul, and part of the profits from the event will be used for the UNESCO Learning Never Stops campaign. The campaign is helping children around the world affected by COVID-19 in continuing their education.
