Jo Byeong Gyu and Kim Sejeong Gugudan are likely to compete acting in the same drama.
On Thursday (11/06) representatives from the South Korean entertainment industry said that Jo Byeong Gyu would star in OCN's latest drama, 'Extraordinary Rumors'.
Responding to the report, OCN commented, "Jo Byeong Gyu received an offer to star in the drama 'Extraordinary Rumors', he is currently considering it."
'Extraordinary Rumors' is a drama based on the webtoon of the same name. The webtoon tells the story of evil spirits returning to earth to live eternal life and the Counters who try to capture them.
Kim Sejeong had previously received an offer to portray the character of Do Ha Na, a girl who could detect the presence of the evil spirit with her sensitive hearing abilities.
While Jo Byeong Gyu was offered to play the character of So Moon, the only child who survived in a deadly accident. He lived a difficult life because he had to live with his grandparents.
So Moon had performed several operations since the accident, but failed to recover the injury to her leg, so she had a permanent limp.
Jo Byeong Gyu was first known to debut through the drama 'Who Are You: School 2015' in 2015. He also starred in several popular dramas such as 'SKY Castle' and 'Stove League'.
