4Minuter finally released one Japanese album, "Diamond" (2010), one full Korean album "4Minutes Left" (2011), seven Korean EPs, and several singles. But after giving up a successful career, 4Minute finally broke up in 2016. Hyuna is now active as a solo singer under the auspices of her new agency P-Nation and successfully released a solo single titled "Flower Showe" in 2019.

3. Career Peak

In 2011, Hyuna appeared in the Korean version of "Dancing with the Stars". The program starts broadcasting on June 10. That same year, he released his first mini album "Bubble Pop", which featured five new songs including the title song of the same name. The single was a global success, and appeared at the top of the YouTube charts "most watched today" after gaining one million views in two days.

This eventually became the first music video by K-pop artists to surpass 100 million views. Hyuna is ranked 17th on the Billboard "21 Under 21" which is a list of staff consisting of famous young acts. In addition, "Bubble Pop" is listed as ninth place in Spin magazine "Best 20 Songs of 2011" Spin magazine.

Trouble Maker appeared for the first time at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and drew the attention of many people because of the sexy concept they brought.

4. Solo Activities

Throughout his career, Hyuna is known to often undergo solo activities and collaborate with other artists. Hyuna collaborated with Lee Ki Kwang on the song "2009" for his debut album and also appeared in the MV single "Dancing Shoes" which was released on March 30, 2009. On August 13, he became a rapper for the Navi song "Wasteful Tears" and he also appeared on music video.

Hyuna also participated in the South Korean variety show "Invincible Youth". However, Hyuna left the show due to several scheduling conflicts with her overseas promotion on June 11, 2010.

In 2012, Hyuna appeared in PSY's viral music video for "Gangnam Style" which was personally chosen by PSY during the initial production stage. "Gangnam Style" became the most viewed K-pop music video, and received global recognition for Hyuna.

PSY then released the female version of "Gangnam Style", known as "Oppa Is Just My Style" in August 2012, featuring additional vocals by Hyuna herself. Hyuna released her second mini album titled Melting on October 21, 2012 with the title song "Ice Cream". This song was produced by Brave Brothers and is the first collaborative effort between producer and Hyuna as a solo artist.

In 2012 it was also announced that he would join four other K-pop stars namely Hyorin Sistar, Hyoseong Secret, Nana After School and Nicole Kara to form a project group titled "Dazzling Red". This group performed on the 2012 SBS Gayo Daejeon.

5. Controversy

Throughout his career, Hyuna often performed with sexy concepts. No wonder his appearance is often controversial because it is considered too open and not well displayed in the public. Netter some time ago criticized Hyuna all out because of the selection of her outfit when appearing at the 2019 Water Bomb Festival held some time ago.

The beautiful singer was seen wearing a sporty bra suit complete with shorts. Unfortunately, the outfit reaped a lot of criticism because it was considered "cheap" and did not look elegant at all. At that time, this topic was the subject of discussion in various online communities.

In addition Hyuna also had time to reap the pros and cons when deciding to leave Cube Entertainment. This is because Hyuna's decision was taken after he was caught dating E'Dawn who is also a member of Pentagon, boy group under the auspices of Cube Entertainment.

Hyuna confirmed that she has been dating E'Dawn since May 2016 on August 3, 2018. Shortly after her romantic relationship spread to the public, Cube Entertainment announced that E'Dawn would take a break from Pentagon activities for a while (hiatus).

Shortly afterwards it was announced that Hyuna left Cube Entertainment, as did E'Dawn who also left the Pentagon. Both are now solo singers under the auspices of PSY's agency, P-Nation.

6. Future Projects

After leaving Cube Entertainment, Hyuna was rarely seen promoting. However, in 2019, Hyuna finally made a comeback with her latest single, titled "Flower Shower" which was released on November 5th. The song is Hyuna's first release since she joined PSY's agency, P-Nation.

The new single, Hyuna, also topped the Global Chart and K-Pop Songs Chart on QQ Music, China's largest online music streaming platform. Not only that, digital album sales were ranked second.

The song "Flower Shower" itself is a Future Moombahton Pop Dance genre song in which PSY works on and writes the lyrics. This song shows the charm of Hyuna who is energetic and sexy like a newly blooming flower. But unfortunately, after releasing the single, Hyuna still hasn't given a sign of a comeback.
