Today, Tuesday (2/4), reports circulated that handsome actor Kim Seon Ho will star in tvN's new drama entitled "Catch Yoo Ryung". He is even rumored to be acting as the male lead character.
Responding to this news, SALT Entertainment as Kim Seon Ho's agency also gave his official statement and confirmed the news. "Kim Seon Ho has been confirmed to be the male lead in 'Catch Yoo Ryung'," the agency said.
"Catch Yoo Ryung" is a romantic investigative genre drama. In this drama, Kim Seon Ho will portray the character Go Ji Suk, a detective for the Wangsimni subway police as well as the chief investigator of Team One.
Go Ji Suk entered the murder department after graduating from the police academy. But he began to change his dream to become a guardian for his single mother who was suffering from dementia.
Instead of being a police officer to arrest criminals, Go Ji Suk actually supervises procedures and regulations. And his life began to change after meeting a very excited new junior police officer, Yoo Ryung.
Yoo Ryung is a female police officer who tries to resolve cases with an overwhelming sense of justice and extraordinary spatial perceptions. But he often experienced difficulties because he acted in a hurry.
Yoo Ryung then meets Go Ji Suk, a male police officer who avoids cases and seeks stability in life. However, he always ends up cleaning up the problem caused by Yoo Ryung and holds the key to solving the case.
The production itself has targeted actress Moon Geun Young as the female lead, Yoo Ryung. But the actress is still considering the offer.
The drama itself will be produced by PD "Rooftop Prince", Shin Yoon Seob. While the script was written by So Woo and Lee Young Joo who wrote a drama script "Please Come Back, Mister".
