Mamamoo was present as a guest star in the latest episode of "Life Bar" which aired on Thursday (3/14). On this occasion, Solar talked about his struggle to become the leader of Mamamoo.
Solar revealed that he had always been the youngest anywhere before joining his agency. Because of that, the agency then asked him to become a group leader. But Solar said he did not know what to do, because he had never been a leader before.
"I have always been the youngest, even at home. But when I entered (agency), I was the oldest. It was very strange because I became the oldest," said Solar. "At that time, I (treated members) more strictly."
Solar later said that he almost never praised members. "Now that I think about it, there is rarely a time when I praise the members. In particular, there is no time where I praise Hwasa," Solar said.
Hearing this, Hwasa revealed that because of this, he often quarreled with Solar. "Because of that, we often fought in the past. At that time, I didn't know that Solar also needed someone to guide what to do. But now I fully understand," added Hwasa.
Solar added that he is not the type of person who is good at expressing himself. He even revealed that he was very angry with Hwasa until he made a misunderstanding. Even so, he cried happily when he discovered Hwasa's solo song, "Twit", won first place.
