Soyeon (G)I-DLE admits that her song royalties have reached IDR 117 billion per month

Soyeon is not only known as a member of (G)I-DLE, but is also a music producer who has made many popular songs. The royalty income is very large.

Jeon Soyeon (G)I-DLE invited Lee Young Ji on the latest episode of the YouTube program "Country Kitchen Dream" which was released on July 10. On that occasion, the two rappers discussed how much song royalties they had received so far.

The trailer for "Country Kitchen Dream" shows Young Ji casually asking Soyeon questions while they are busy preparing vegetables to be cooked. "Unnie, how much do you earn (royalties) in a month?" asked Young Ji.

Soyeon paused from her activities and said, "Should I reveal my annual income?" Young Ji happily exclaimed, "Wow, you sure make quite a lot to answer like that."

Soyeon then said that Young Ji's income was no less than hers. However, Young Ji argued by saying, "My income fluctuates every month. It goes up and down." Soyeon also experienced the same thing as Young Ji.

Young Ji was still trying to grill Soyeon by asking again, "So, how much income do you make in a month?" Soyeon finally revealed that she could earn billions of won in a month.

"Okay, if everything goes well, I can earn around 1 billion won (around Rp. 117 billion) a month," said Soyeon. The idol's story amazed Young Ji and the "Country Kitchen Dream" crew because it turned out that the royalties were so large.

However, Soyeon hastily clarified that the number is not always certain. "But in the slower months, I can only make 100 thousand won (around Rp. 1.1 million)," said Soyeon. However, Young Ji of course doesn't believe it.

"I think you deliberately lowered (your royalty income). The numbers show that you should earn more," argued Young Ji. Soyeon smiled faintly and quickly teased Young Ji.

"You're only saying this because you also earned 1 billion won!" accused Soyeon. However, Young Ji immediately denied it and said, "No, no! I didn't get that much!" What do you think? (wk/charity)
