Good news comes from Song Joong Ki's family. On Monday (8/7), it was reported that Katy Louise Saunders was pregnant with her second child. The couple now has a son who is around 1 year old.
According to an exclusive report from News1, Joong Ki and Katy have told their close friends and family members about the pregnancy news. Katy is now focusing on prenatal care to welcome her second baby.
The news of Katy's second pregnancy was immediately responded to by Joong Ki's agency. Hi-Zium Studio said, "Song Joong Ki and his wife are expecting the birth of their second child. It is difficult to confirm the birth time or gender of the child as this is a private matter."
On the other hand, Joong Ki and Katy met through an acquaintance in 2021 and the relationship developed into lovers. The couple confirmed their relationship around December 2022 and announced the wedding and pregnancy in early 2023.
At that time, Joong Ki expressed his affection for Katy by saying, "I have vowed to spend the rest of my life with Katie Louise Saunders, who has supported, loved and spent precious time with me."
Joong Ki and Katy spent the days leading up to the birth of their first child in Rome. After that, their son was born in June 2023. Joong Ki proudly announced, "Here in my wife's hometown of Rome, we happen to be welcoming our baby."
