Selected as the Best KPOP Album by Billboard, RM BTS's Second Album Was Also Praised by Foreign Media
RM's second album was chosen as the best KPOP album by Billboard (Instagram @rkive)


Once again, boy group BTS has made a proud achievement, RM's 2nd solo album receives positive responses every day.


Reported by Sport Chosun via Naver, RM BTS's second solo album entitled Right Place, Wrong Person which was released in May this year was selected as the Best KPop Album by Staff in the First Half of 2024 which was recently announced by Billboard, an American music media outlet.


Billboard said, "RM once again explores his identity and emotions through his most ambitious album of 2024."


Billboard later commented that Light Place, Long Person is a work of musical experimentation and honest sharing of one's thoughts.


He also added, "Come back to me and Domodachi (Domodachi)" feels like a space where RM reflects and expresses his feelings rather than popularity. It seems like he is free to express all aspects of himself through the album."


Not only that, AP, America's largest telecommunications company, also chose RM's album as the Best Album in the First Half of 2024.


AP commented, "Every time RM, the wise leader of BTS, performs his solo work, he achieves extraordinary results with a philosophical spirit and is not afraid of challenges. Evident in this album, he asks deep questions about music no matter what genre he leaves behind."


Apart from Billboard and AP, RM's album also received praise from Consequence of Sound, an American music media outlet.


His party described RM's second solo album as an experimental album and chose the song "Domodachi (feat. Little Simz)" as the Best Song of the First Half of 2024.


RM's new album received positive responses from leading overseas media soon after its release. Foreign media outlets such as NME also praised its musicality, including a beautiful and interesting work of art.


The Grammys also conveyed a positive review, saying "RM's extraordinary solo journey."


In fact, through this album, RM expands his musical world by challenging alternative genres and collaborating with artists of various skin colors.
