San ATEEZ attended Milan Fashion Week 2024, precisely at the Alta Moda Dolce & Gabbana event on July 2. This idol, born in 1999, immediately attracted the attention of the wider public because the outfit he wore was quite unique.
However, fans recently accused San of discrimination and racist behavior at the event. Fans were unhappy with the situation where San had to sit between two people without a cushion like the others.
Rumors of being treated racistly finally reached San's ears. Through his live broadcast on July 7, the singer of the song "Deja Vu" clarified his reasons for sitting without wearing cushions like the other Alta Moda Dolce & Gabbana guests.
"For the cushion, I decided to sit like that. I was sad because this caused a misunderstanding. I chose that outfit from ten outfits (prepared) because I liked that one the most," said San.
"Given the identity of the show, I wanted to challenge myself with that outfit and I'm grateful that they gave me the main outfit from last year's show," she continued. San at the same time denied accusations of racial discrimination that had spread.
San also shared his experience at dinner with Dolce & Gabbana. "Grandpa Dolce, really. At dinner, and talking to me, 'Italy loves you' he said that," San recalled.
Lastly, San hopes that no one will misunderstand this situation. "No more misunderstandings! I had fun!" concluded the singer of the song "WONDERLAND". Fans finally felt relieved by San's clarification.
