Red Velvet has returned with their long-awaited new album "Cosmic". This album was not only warmly received by the ReVeluvs, but also reflected Red Velvet's huge influence in the K-pop industry.
Recently, Red Velvet celebrated their tenth anniversary with the release of their highly anticipated album "Cosmic" on June 24. Their return received a lot of praise from fans, especially in terms of the members' musicality, visuals, concept and extraordinary talents.
With Red Velvet's comeback this time, ReVeluvs felt very happy to receive this comeback and praised their music video for various reasons. One of them is the members' choice of outfit.
Since its release, Red Velvet's MV has often been talked about. Apart from the visuals of "Cosmic" which take many elements from the film "Midsommar", the details in the form of Irene CS's clothes are no less interesting.
In the MV, Irene wears an Ana Radu tulle dress combined with Gel-Kayano sneakers and a flower necklace. Then Joy in a dark MOLLY GODDARD ruffled midi dress but provides a beautiful touch of fashionable contrast.
Next, Seulgi's outfit consisted of a cropped halterneck top from Carlota Flora, which she paired with mid-rise jeans paired with Converse shoes. Wendy in an embroidered cotton top from MARANT ETOILE and knitted denim shorts. Lastly, Yeri in a Celcile Bahnsen textured Midi dress and New Balance 530 Logo Patch sneakers.
To promote the title song of this album, also entitled "Cosmic", Red Velvet appeared on various music shows. On June 30, the group appeared on their latest comeback stage on “Inkigayo”, a music show broadcast by SBS. Their performance really amazed the audience with their charming red costumes and stable dancing and vocal skills.
"Their chemistry, stage presence and synchronization are really crazy and not a joke," said one netizen. "This costume really suits them. They are very beautiful and this performance is extraordinary. I like this song," said another netizen. "Kudos to the camera work on this and each member was given the right focus," added another.
"All the performances were good but this one was the best for me. All the members shined, Yeri was so beautiful and confident, and their costumes were great. Everything was perfect!" commented a netizen. "Everything from their costumes, music show sets, to their overall vision is related to Red Velvet's identity as a group. Talk about visionaries and not wanting to fit in," continued another netizen. "They are the queens of concepts, vocals and visuals," said another. (wk/inta)
