World BTS ARMY Day is held every July 9, and on that date, in 2013, the name ARMY was officially announced as the BTS fandom.
And today via a fan community application called Weverse, Jhope shared a letter to ARMY.
In his letter, Jhope revealed that this would be the last letter he shared before he completed military service.
The letter was warmly captioned, "The person who makes us more like ourselves, ARMY everyone~!! Thank you for being there!!."
Along with the letter, Jhope also shared a never-before-seen group photo featuring all seven BTS members.
In the letter, Jhope wrote, "ARMY!! Happy birthday~" He acknowledged that it was their fandom's birthday and expressed his feelings that not visiting his fans via Weverse would be very regrettable.
Jhope mentioned that he believes this may be his last letter before he leaves the military.

Jhope asked ARMY if they liked all the content and stated that there will be about three months left until he is discharged from the military.

Even though he doesn't know what will happen, he emphasized that his love for ARMY remains steadfast and unwavering.
