Jang Nara was a guest star on the program "My Ugly Duckling" on Sunday (30/6). On that occasion, the actress who was born in 1981 recalled the moment she approached her popcorn husband, who works as a cinematographer, Jung Ha Chul.
Nara initially said that she met her husband who was 6 years younger than her while working on the drama "VIP". "I met my husband while working on the drama 'VIP' in 2019," said the beautiful actress.
MC Shin Dong Yeop added, "Jang Na Ra's husband is the cinematographer for the drama." Nara revealed with a big smile, "The drama was successful, and I ended up dating and marrying him."
MC Seo Jang Hoon then asked who started the approach process first. Nara answered, "I did it. He is very good at his job. Even though it's not his responsibility, he will always help if there is a problem on set."
MC Dong Yeop then asked how Nara started her approach process. "After filming, I saw my husband appear in the background of some of the photos I took. I sent him one of the photos and started contact," he said.
Nara remembered that her husband at that time replied to her message by asking how she was doing. "Since then, I have continued to contact him non-stop," added the actress. After contacting each other for some time, Nara finally shot her husband.
"He once told me that he enjoyed working with great colleagues on set and mentioned how nice they were. That's when I said, 'I like you,' and confessed my feelings,'" recalled Nara.
Meanwhile, Nara married Ha Chul in June 2022. When announcing her marriage, the actress said, "After dating a video director who is six years younger than me for more than two years, we decided to be a lifelong couple. I fell in love with her beautiful smile, her sincere and kind heart, and most importantly, her sincere dedication to her work." (wk/charity)
