Ahead of NCT 127's comeback, fans seem to be dissatisfied with SM Entertainment's efforts. Fans suspect that SM Entertainment is half-hearted and not working hard enough for NCT 127's comeback album.
On June 24, NCT 127 officially announced that they would soon make a comeback with their sixth album, "WALK". The plan is that the album containing 11 songs will be released on July 15.
Unfortunately, ahead of the comeback, fans seem to be dissatisfied with SM Entertainment's efforts. In a portrait that went viral on Monday (8/7), NCT 127 fans were seen sending a protest truck to the SM Entertainment building.
As is known, truck protests have recently become a standard method for fans to voice their concerns. NCT 127 fans are now also doing the same thing who are complaining about the agency's lack of thought and planning for their idol's comeback.
Fans suspect that SM Entertainment is half-hearted and not working hard enough for NCT 127's comeback album. Fans also feel that NCT 127's comeback schedule is so bad that it ignores international fans.
"Neo Center thinks that NCT 127 fans are pushy people. Analyze consumer needs," read the fan protest written on the truck. "NCT 127: launch schedule that was not well thought out. Album concept that was 'just made'. International fans ignored. World tour that was cancelled," wrote another fan's protest.
"Did you guys draw the album design on sketch paper? Where did the money from the pop-up shops go?" another fan protested. "Same design, hasn't changed for years. Looks like they didn't even edit it. Insincere album making," protested another fan.
Meanwhile, "WALK" will be NCT's first album in 2024. Previously, NCT 127 had released the albums "Ay Yo" and "Fact Check". They have also released a special winter album, "Be There For Me."
Unfortunately, at this moment Taeyong was forced to be absent and not participate in promoting their latest album. The reason is, he is still undergoing mandatory military service (wamil).
Taeyong officially entered the military training center in mid-April 2024. When entering the Navy training center, Taeyong shared Instagram Stories and TikTok videos with other members for fans. (wk/diah)
