ATEEZ's Seonghwa's grandfather has passed away.
On July 16th KST, KQ Entertainment announced that Seonghwa will skip soundcheck for ATEEZ's concert in Oakland on July 17th due to the death of his grandfather.
However, Seonghwa is scheduled to perform at the actual concert later in the evening. The agency said that Seonghwa will be attending his grandfather's funeral in Korea before returning to the US to participate in the group's activities.

It is with great regret and sadness that we announce that Songhwa's grandfather passed away on July 15th.
We would like to express our deepest condolences and pray for the repose of the deceased's soul, and ask for your heartfelt condolences and encouragement for Songhwa at this time.
After careful discussion with his company, Songhwa has decided to take time to spend with his family and friends during the mourning period and funeral, and then return to his daily life in the United States. As a result, he will not be participating in the SOUNDCHECK of "TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER] IN OAKLAND" on July 17th, but will participate in the concert performance on that day as scheduled.
We ask for your understanding, and once again offer our heartfelt condolences and sympathy, and ask for your heartfelt comfort and encouragement for Songhwa's family and loved ones.
