Taeyong NCT, who has just released the mini album SHALALA, is ready to present it on the weekly music program in Korea, KLovers. Taeyong will be performing today on Mnet's music
'COUNTDOWN, Music Bank on KBS2TV on June 9, Music Core on MBC and Music Universe K-909 on JTBC on June 10, and INKIGAYO on SBS on June 11. The singer from the NCT 127 sub-unit is ready to perform the title track Shalala and also the b-side track Gwando.
With a unique concept and choreography, Shalala is a hip-hop song that has an addictive melody, KLovers. In fact, Shalala's choreography managed to attract attention with the unique 'Macarena dance' hand movements!
Not only that, KLovers! Taeyong will also be performing the song Gwando which is a pop and rock genre song with a rocking guitar sound from the verse to the hook. This song also has lyrics that express various emotions about breakups, but with a cheerful melody. This song also conveys the message that everyone will handle these feelings well.
Apart from Gwando, Taeyong will also perform the song Virtual Insanity at the Music Universe K-909 program on June 10 which will be broadcast on JTBC. The song is hip-hop with intense 808 bass, multiple drum sources, and strong rapping to give it a futuristic feel.
On the other hand, Taeyong's first mini-album titled SHALALA, which was just released on June 5, 2023 on various music sites, managed to top iTunes 'Top Album' in 30 countries, you know, KLovers. These countries, namely Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Hong Kong, Hungary, Singapore, and others. This album also managed to top the Worldwide iTunes 'Album Chart' and QQ Music's 'Digital Album Sales'. Not only that, Shalala's title track also managed to occupy the first position on the 'iTunes Top Song Chart' in 14 countries and the Japanese 'AWA' music chart. (kpl/slm)
