LE SSERAFIM has successfully reaped a proud achievement by making new history in the K-pop music industry with their new album. On May 2nd, LE SSERAFIM released the physical version of their 1st full album “UNFORGIVEN" which was released digitally the day before.
According to the Hanteo Chart, "UNFORGIVEN" sold an astonishing total of 1,024,034 copies on May 2 alone, setting a new record for the highest first-day sales by any female artist in Hanteo's history. Only one other album by a female artist has ever sold 1 million copies on its first day of release: BLACKPINK's 2022 album “BORN PINK”, which held the previous record with 1,011,266 first-day sales.
Even including male artists, LE SSERAFIM is now the group with the fifth highest overall first day sales, beaten only by SEVENTEEN, BTS, TXT and Stray Kids. It is not surprising that the extraordinary achievements of this girl group made by Source Music have received praise from fans.

Meanwhile LE SSERAFIM originally debuted with six members but Kim Garam left the group on July 20 2022, after terminating his exclusive contract due to being involved in a bullying scandal he had committed in the past. LE SSERAFIM then debuted on May 2, 2022, with the release of their first mini album "Fearless".
