Jennie BLACKPINK has attended the 2023 Met Gala for the first time and immediately became the talk of the world community. The Korean media then called her figure the reincarnation of Audrey Hepburn.
Jennie BLACKPINK managed to amaze many eyes while attending her first Met Gala some time ago. Even the appearance of the idol born in 1996 earned him the nickname Audrey Hepburn's reincarnation from the Korean media.
On Thursday (4/5), local media TenAsia re-uploaded a photo of Jennie in a 1990 Chanel dress collection. The black and white photo gives a vintage impression that fits with the theme that Jennie brought.
The 2023 Met Gala, which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Manhattan, New Yeork, USA on May 1, was aimed at charity. This year's theme is dedicated to renowned designer Karl Legerfeld who once owned Fendi and resurrected Chanel in his lifetime.
Due to the theme of "Karl Legerfeld: A Line of Beauty", Jennie wore an archival dress from Chanel. The sleeveless, short white dress with a pleated skirt had a black bow at the neck.
To enhance her appearance, Jennie added a thick choker, gloves and black stockings. While the hair is styled with braids on the head and white camellia flower pins typical of Chanel.
Jennie's simple but still classy appearance made the Korean media encode her name with Audrey Hepburn. The "Breakfast at Tiffany's" actress is also known for her minimalist, simple and elegant style. Hepburn also made little black dresses, gingham pants, black polo shirts and iconic headbands.
