Song Hye Kyo became one of the celebrities who enlivened the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards which was held today, Friday (28/4), at Incheon Paradise City, Incheon. Apart from impressing many people with his appearance on the red carpet, the star of "The Glory" also came home with an award trophy.
Hye Kyo was nominated for the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards for the Best Actress category. The 1981-born actress competed with Kim Ji Won "My Liberation Notes", Kim Hye Soo "Under The Queen's Umbrella", Park Eun Bin "Extraordinary Attorney Woo", and Bae Suzy "Anna".

Park Yeonjin is an antagonist and enemy of Moon Dongeun, the character played by Hye Kyo in "The Glory". Because of the iconic character played by Lim Ji Yeon, many people imitate the way Dongeun calls Yeonjin with "Yeonjin-ah".
During her speech, Hye Kyo also mentioned her mother when she said, "I thought my mother would be happy after a while... Mother always worried a lot about me but I hope you feel comfortable and happy today."
Meanwhile, the judging criteria for this year's Baeksang Arts Awards include content provided on terrestrial, cable, OTT, and web platforms for dramas.
