Heechul previously made a donation of 100 million won to The Blue Tree Foundation and expressed his interest in raising awareness of effective ways to prevent bullying in schools.
The latest news comes from Heechul who has been appointed as an ambassador for the prevention and recovery of school bullying. The Super Junior member was appointed as an ambassador for the prevention and recovery of school bullying by The Blue Tree Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to various educational campaigns for the prevention of school bullying and classroom violence.
Previously in February this year, Heechul made a donation of 100 million won to The Blue Tree Foundation and expressed his interest in raising awareness of effective ways to prevent school bullying. Senior artist Sung Si Kyung, who is known as a good friend of Heechul, has also been active as an NGO ambassador for many years.
As an ambassador, Heechul will take part in various campaigns, including prevention of school bullying, recovery after suffering from bullying, social change towards non-violence and many others. Meanwhile, in recent years, there have been many troubling allegations of bullying by Korean celebrities.

Whereas before his debut in Super Junior, Heechul started his acting career in 2005, starring in the second season of the youth drama "Sharp 2." and led to him hosting a radio show, his first music show "Show! Music Core" and appearing in commercials. Heechul ventured into a soundtrack singing career in 2009 by releasing his first single "First Star", as part of the soundtrack to the drama "Loving You a Thousand Times" and participating in writing lyrics not only for Super Junior but also for his project group and other artists.
