According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of 'Dr. Romantic 3' recorded the highest rating from seasons 1 and 2. The first episode of the drama Kim Min Jae cs scored a rating of 12.7 percent.
After a long wait, "Dr. Romantic 3" finally officially aired on Friday (28/4). The premiere episode of the popular SBS drama immediately showed an intimate scene of Seo Woo Jin (Ahn Hyo Seop) and Cha Eun Jae (Lee Sung Kyung) who were dating.
The first episode of "Dr. Romantic 3" opens with a tense situation where doctors and nurses at the Doldam hospital have to save a North Korean defector who has been shot. They initially had to treat the patient on a ship with limited facilities.
Fortunately, the patient was finally able to be transferred to the Doldam hospital. After going through a tough night, Woo Jin and Eun Jae seem to be at home where they decide to live together. Woo Jin looked like he had just finished taking a shower when Eun Jae arrived.
Having engaged in small talk, Woo Jin without hesitation kissed Eun Jae's lips. The couple was also seen having fun making out on the sofa in their living room. The premiere episode of "Dr. Romantic 3" apparently succeeded in breaking the rating record.
According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of "Dr. Romantic 3" recorded the highest rating of seasons 1 and 2. The first episode of Kim Min Jae's drama scored a rating of 12.7 percent, making it the most watched program throughout the day.
"Dr. Romantic 3" also became the second highest-rated Friday-Saturday drama in SBS history. The drama featuring Kim Joo Hun and Han Suk Kyu was only beaten by "The Penthouse 2" which won the highest rating premiering in 2021.
On the other hand, Woo Jin and Eun Jae's intimate moment in the first episode of "Dr. Romantic 3" was immediately invaded by enthusiastic comments from Indonesian fans. "Kim methamphetamine saw them Kim methamphetamine, call mister go try let them work together," wrote a fan. "Yes, just oloooohhhhhg, just eps 1, it's daebaaaaak, itcuuuuhhhhh. Kim Sabu Haraboji, please condition it," continued another.
"Very cute with Woojin and Eunjae. The couple, like Ahreum, even though I haven't met again at the ending of eps 1, Eunjae's father came to the hospital," added other fans.
