NewJeans' rearmost single, Ditto, has set a record for Melon's daily map. These Kpop icons managed to eclipse the maps for the week between February 20 and 26, 2023.
Since its release on December 19, 2022, Ditto has noway dropped from the number 1 position for 70 successive days( 10 weeks). With 10 successive weeks at number 1, Ditto has made history on Melon, Korea's largest music streaming service.
This is the longest successive record of a song staying at Number 1 on the map since the service was innovated in November 2004. The only other song to stay at Number 1 on Melon for further than 10 weeks is BTS Dynamite.
In themid-2000s, the Korean music assiduity passed a major metamorphosis with declining physical reader deals and map performance getting new measures of success among the general public.
