Through an interview with Ilgan Sports, Son Ji Chan explained that he had volunteered to help arrange the wedding ceremony between Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In as a wedding gift.

“Actually, Lee Seung Gi had asked Kang Ho Dong, someone he had trusted and followed since their time together on 2 Days & 1 Night, to host his wedding. However, he (Kang Ho Dong) turned down the offer because he was embarrassed and would congratulate the couple in his own way."
