SM Entertainment has released a new video to answer fans' questions on Friday (24/02).

The video was published to answer fans' questions about what changes will occur to SM Entertainment in the SM 3.0 plan.

One of the important things discussed by Lee Sung Soo (Christ Lee) and Tak Young Jun as representatives of SM Entertainment is how they plan to protect artists in the future.

"Many fans ask, 'why doesn't SM follow up on fan complaints about rumors that befall artists?' and 'when will SM follow up on the complaint?' through my social media," said Lee Sung Soo.

Answering questions related to this, Lee Sung Soo replied that SM Entertainment had handled the complaint by working with legal entities.

However, Lee Sung So understands the concerns of fans who want to know the continuation of the complaints regarding the reported allegations.

To that end, SM Entertainment has included a strict artist protection plan in the upcoming SM 3.0 plan.

Kwangya 119 (temporary name), is a system that will be created by SM Entertainment to efficiently protect its artists from all false accusations or rumors.

Fans can make independent complaints which will be directly addressed to one of SM Entertainment's artists and cases will be processed proactively.

"To deal with an issue, we will operate 'Kwangya 119' (name still tentative), which will be launched in the first half of the year to receive reports systematically and proactively deal with illegal activities," said Lee Sung Soo, who is Co-CEO of SM Entertainment.

"Of course there will be certain limitations. For example, only related artists will be notified regarding the results of trials under legal entities."

Through this explanation, Lee Sung Soo also added that it might be difficult for fans to know about the further reporting process.

However, SM Entertainment will make every effort to provide updates on the latest developments in the report.

Not only that, Kwangya 119 is also planned to prevent false rumors using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system.

"Secondly, we plan to introduce an AI system that will filter out various false rumors online."

"To carry out this function, we are preparing by collaborating with technology companies," said Lee Sung Soo again.

Tak Young Jun also explained that someone who intentionally sends malicious comments and causes mental disturbance to the artist will be given a severe punishment.

"We will increase our attention to malicious content and comments together with various organizations we work with as well as advisory organizations, and we will ensure that someone who commits crimes against our artists will be punished," said Tak Young Jun firmly.

Not only that, Kwangya 119 will also be programmed to prevent actions related to the illegal sale of SM Entertainment idol concert tickets.

Meanwhile, the 16-minute video also explains SM 3.0's other plans, which include plans for SM Entertainment's artist activities to the NCT group infinity system which will end in NCT Tokyo. /kpopchart.net
