Currently, the South Korean public is inflamed after Lee Je Hoon received comments suggesting sexual harassment. Comedian Lee Kyung Sil Has Been Reported To The Police In The Aftermath.

Lee Je Hoon has recently been in the spotlight after receiving comments that smelled of harassment from comedian Lee Kyung Sil. Increasingly serious, the female comedian has reportedly been reported to the police.

While attending the "Cultwo Show" on radio channel SBS Power FM, Lee Kyung Sil made inappropriate comments about Lee Je Hoon regarding his appearance in "Taxi Driver 2". The comedian's statement was deemed inappropriate when the era of stricter standards on gender issues has increased.

Lee Kyung Sil's controversial words read, "Did you see the deep line between his sternum? If you drop water on Lee Je Hoon's muscles and drink it, it will become mineral water."

It was not only blasphemy that was received, Lee Kyung Sil was threatened with dealing with the law. On February 19, a report against Lee Kyung Sil's comments was filed by a Yonseoi University student. Lee Kyung Sil was reported to the police on charges of misusing correspondence media.

The student in his indictment cited Supreme Court precedent which read, "He used the communications media to say things that caused embarrassment or sexual disgust to others for the purpose of encouraging or satisfying sexual desires for himself."

"Causing shame or sexual disgust goes beyond simple embarrassment or discomfort to the victim and is against the sexual morality of most people in society," he continued.

The complainant claimed that if a male MC made such comments to a female guest, he would become a target for sexual predators for the rest of his life. Men who have a stronger image are vulnerable to harassment comments. So that neither men nor women should hear sexual comments that are against their will.

In addition, Lee Kyung Sil's controversial statement has also been submitted to the Korea Communications Standards Commission. Until now, the controversy regarding comments about Lee Je Hoon has not subsided.

Meanwhile, Lee Kyung Sil has not made any statement regarding the controversy. Even the drama "The Seagull" which will feature him still hasn't shown a cast change even though the controversy is heating up. (wk/inta)
