Jin BTS enlisted as an active duty soldier in early December 2022 by entering the 5th Infantry Division's recruit training center. He is now serving as an assistant instructor in the same battalion.
Jin BTS has been busy with military service in the last few months. But recently, a video circulated which sparked concern for fans because they suspected that the idol born in 1992 had a shoulder injury.
The video released by Starnews Korea media shows Jin leading a ceremony in the military. The video of the singer for the song "The Astronaut" immediately went viral, winning 1.5 million views and 532.7 thousand likes, last seen on Thursday (16/2).
The comments column was invaded by fans who expressed their longing for Jin. But when most of the audience praised the idol's good looks in a military uniform, many highlighted Jin's discomfort in his shoulders.
Jin did shrug his shoulders several times either because he was sick or just to adjust to the condition. But this isn't the first time fans have seen Jin uncomfortable with his shoulder. At the previous ceremony, the idol was also seen holding his shoulder.
"Are you okay hyung?? I see your shoulders are not okay," wrote a fan. "The shoulder, something seems uncomfortable," continued another. "Wait a minute, am I the only one who noticed, he looks uncomfortable with his shoulder, is my Jin injured?" added other fans.

But Jin did not go to the front like most other active soldiers. The man will continue to be at the 5th Infantry Division's recruit training center as he is assigned to be an assistant instructor in the same battalion.
Meanwhile, Jin is likely to be discharged from the military in mid-2024. Until now, the other BTS members are still busy with their individual promotions. It is not yet known when the members who are old enough to join the army will follow Jin. (wk/charity)
