Hoshi Calls BTS Paving the Way for Wider Kpop in the US Here's Suga's Humble Answer

On episode 4 of 'Suchwita', Hoshi and Suga talked about their origins, the role idols play in fans' lives, and paving the way for K-Pop in the US.

Recently member SEVENTEEN Hoshi became a special guest star on the 4th episode of Suga's show "Suchwita" which aired on February 9 yesterday. In this episode, Hoshi and Suga talk about their origins, the role idols play in fans' lives, and paving the way for K-Pop in the US.

The program was an opportunity to get to know each other better as the two idols confessed that they "only know each other from music shows and TV". Hoshi was introduced as "Spoiler Kwon" and "fierce dance leader" where he said he wanted to appear on Suga's show because "it's a famous PR spot" so he wanted to promote the comeback of Unit BSS (who recently released a single album with the title the song 'Fighting') and get to know the idol more.

Suga and Hoshi also broke the ice as soon as filming started when the BTS member assured his guest that he could drop the honor and talk to him comfortably. When asked about SEVENTEEN's overseas tour and visiting various countries, Hoshi admitted that it was BTS that opened the door for K-Pop.

Suga then humbly replied, "No, it's not because of us, it's because (you) SEVENTEEN is so amazing!" and Hoshi said, "You need to know what you're doing. You create the environment. To be honest we can only go to American TV shows because of you guys."

Hoshi was also curious about Suga's concerns about idol groups going on break and asked him if he ever wanted to create his own idol group. Suga, on the other hand, revealed that even company representatives who hold high positions feel hurt when faced with difficult decisions. On the same day "Fighting Dance Challenge BSS" with Suga was also revealed on SEVENTEEN's Official Account and shocked the fans of both groups.

Meanwhile Hoshi also talked about how he happened to join Pledis and revealed what happened in the dorm that many trainees had to share together. The episode ends with Suga inviting Hoshi to his Genius Lab studio. Meanwhile, the 4th episode of "Suchwita" successfully trended in South Korea, Japan, Canada and the US, proving the popularity of the program has increased. (wk/aiss)
