The Korean Business Research Institute has released the February brand reputation ranking list for the girl group member category. Apparently, a member of the NewJeans rookie group, Minji took first place. Minji succeeded in shifting Jennie BLACKPINK's position.
According to Soompi, Sunday (19/2/2023), for information, the brand reputation ranking itself is determined through an analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and the public awareness index of 579 girl group members. Data was collected for one month, from 19 January to 19 February.
Minji NewJeans maintained its position at number one on this month's list with a brand reputation index of 4,866,970. Phrases that ranked highly in its keyword analysis included “Billboard,” “Seoul ambassador,” and “Chanel ambassador,” while the highest-ranking related terms included “selected,” “graduate,” and “innocent.” Minji's positive-negative analysis also revealed a score of 90.65 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's Jennie maintained her position in second place with a brand reputation index of 4,485,463, marking a 1.56 percent increase in her score since January.
Meanwhile, SNSD's Taeyeon rose to third place with a 15.17 percent increase in her brand reputation index. The singer's total score for February reached 3,825,003.
Finally, Haerin and Hanni from NewJeans completed the top five in fourth and fifth place respectively.
