Co-CEO Lee Sung Soo mentioned in his video that Lee Soo Man asked SM artists to support him to not take overseas jobs.
Jang Hansol Korea Reomit finally explained in Indonesian regarding the video released by SM Entertainment's Co-CEO, Lee Sung Soo. The figure who is known to be Lee Soo Man's nephew revealed that his uncle did several illegal things, starting from owning a shell company, intending to build a casino, to trying to legalize marijuana.
Lee Soo Man reportedly did not want to create a multi-producer like the original plan for the sake of personal gain. Furthermore, the producer is said to have forced artists and some SM officials to show their support for him.
"First, he asked the artists to say that SM needed Lee Soo Man. So, 'we can't do this without Lee Soo Man'. He asked the artists to say something like this to move the media, he said," explained Jang Hansol.
"Then he also mobilized several higher-ups within the company. So, if someone doesn't obey or doesn't agree with Lee Soo Man's directions, you can say something like 'you know, our company isn't good because you don't want to hear Lee Soo Man'. So he also divides internal politics, he said," continued the YouTuber who had lived in Malang, East Java.
In addition, the SM founder requested an additional contract as a consultant through CTP. Then expect all artist's foreign activities to carry out contracts from this CTP.
The co-CEO, also known as Chris Lee, also revealed that Lee Soo Man forced artists to stop overseas schedules. This is in order to prepare the SMTOWN event schedule which will be held so that all artists can attend.
"And even he asked SMTOWN artists not to make overseas schedules or other schedules. Let Lee Soo Man hold SMTOWN concerts or SMTOWN events abroad, all the artists are ready," explained Jang Hansol . (wk/alpha)
