A total of 5 former trainees namely Yejin, Sera, Goeun, Pru, and Jeongmin came to show support for aespa. Jeongmin shared their photos with the four aespa members taken at the backstage of the concert.
Fans may be familiar with one of the former trainees, Koeun. Previously, the girl born in 1999 was introduced as part of SM Rookies and appeared at the "Mickey Mouse Club" with other trainees who are now members of NCT Dream.
A post on the online community highlighted the closeness of aespa members to their former fellow trainees. This shows that even though they used to compete fiercely for the chance to debut, that hasn't stopped them from remaining close friends.
The arrival of the five of them to support aespa as well as remind netizens of the bullying rumors that used to surround Karina before her debut, where the idol was accused of bullying her fellow trainees. With this, netizens are commenting on how ridiculous the rumors are.
"This is amazing... If it were me, I wouldn't be able to come..." commented netizens. "If it were me, I would never go there because I would have an inferiority complex. These former trainees seem to have good personalities and they seem to have lived quite well," said another netizen.
"Karina has to clap, keke. All the kids who thought they were going to debut instead left and she debuted as a center," netizens said. "Remember Karina's gossip where they said she bullied all the girls until they came out? The fact that they were all close to Karina made me laugh," added another. (wk/goddess)
