The continuation of Park Min Young's examination process regarding her involvement in the case of her ex-boyfriend was revealed by the agency.
Hook Entertainment, Park Min Young's agency, has released a new statement regarding the actress' current position.
Previously, it was reported that Park Min Young was banned from leaving South Korea.
This is because there is new evidence in the case of Kang Jong Hyun, Park Min Young's ex-boyfriend.
It is reported that Park Min Young's name was used in some of Kang Jong Hyun's financial transactions.
This made the suspicion of Park Min Young's involvement in the Kang Jong Hyun case strengthened.
However, today, February 15 2023, Hook Entertainment as Park Min Young's agency has opened his voice regarding this matter.
"We would like to provide some clarification on the previous report that was published on February 14, which stated that Park Min Young was summoned for police questioning, and that she has been barred from leaving South Korea.
In fact, Park Min Young was summoned for questioning on February 13 only as a witness in the current investigation, but the police did not prohibit her from traveling abroad.
We apologize for delivering unpleasant news during these difficult times, including the late response from the agency."
It was also known that on February 2, Kang Jong Hyun was arrested by the authorities along with other Bithumb executives.
Kang Jong Hyun as the owner of Bithumb is suspected of stock manipulation and embezzlement.
Meanwhile, Park Min Young was first reported to be dating Kang Jong Hyun by Dispatch in September 2022.
Shortly after that, Park Min Young's agency, Hook Entertainment, reported that the two had broken up and were living their separate lives. /kpopchart.net
