PSY Becomes First Musician to Appear on New Mnet Project Together with (G)I-DLE

PSY will be the first musician to appear on Mnet's newest project, 'Mnet Prime Show'. PSY will be performing with one of K-Pop's top girl groups, (G)I-DLE.


Mnet held a new music project entitled "Mnet Prime Show". In this project, PSY and (G)I-DLE will be the first performing artists.

The aim of this musical project is to bring together musicians from very different worlds on one stage. The project will invite two artists to collaborate each month.

In the first two weeks of every month, Mnet will reveal the personal stories of the two artists who were selected as the collaboration artist of the month on 'Prime Show'. Their grand collaboration stage will be revealed on the third week of every month, followed by behind-the-scenes commentary for the fourth week.

PSY is known to be one of South Korea's top musicians and artists who introduced K-Pop music to the world with his "Gangnam Style" fever. Since then, PSY has continued to produce new works that are unique and popular.

PSY is also known to have collaborated with other top K-Pop artists. Starting from CL 2NE1 to the latest with Suga BTS.

Apart from playing music, PSY is now also establishing his own agency after leaving YG Entertainment. PSY founded the P Nation agency which houses a number of top K-Pop artists, starting from Heize, rapper] Swing and Crush. Meanwhile, previously, E-Dawn, HyunA and Jessi were also known to be artists under the P Nation agency before deciding to leave in 2022.

While on the other hand, (G) I-DLE is known to be one of the girl groups that has a strong position in the industry. With members who are able to produce their own songs, (G) I-DLE is one of the girl crush groups that has a bold and sexy image.

Most recently, (G) I-DLE has succeeded in stealing attention with their sexy outfits, especially Minne. The Thai idol appeared in trousers, but with "peeking" underwear at the VR (G)I-DLE concert "For NEVERLAND" to reap mixed responses. (wk/amel)
