Jungkook BTS, the first K-pop soloist to be nominated for the iHeart Radio Music Awards

Adding to a personal record, Jungkook BTS has become the first K-Pop solo artist to receive a nomination at the iHeart Music Awards, a prestigious award in the United States.


Not yet officially debuting as a soloist, Jungkook BTS has again set records as a singer. The owner of the name Jeon Jungkook has been nominated for the 2023 iHeart Radio Music Awards.

On January 11 local time, Jungkook's collaboration "Left and Right" with Charlie Puth was nominated for Best Music Video at the iHeart Radio Music Awards. As is known, this collaboration is Jungkook's first as a soloist.

"Congratulations to the most successful K-Pop soloist," said one of the fans. "Maybe we can get a live performance there," said other fans. "I'm a fan of both," added another.

The winner of the iHeart Radio Music Awards will be announced on March 27. Apart from Jungkook, BTS and BLACKPINK were also included in several nominations.

Jungkook is now the first and only K-Pop soloist in history to be nominated for the iHeart Radio Music Awards. Previously, Jungkook was also the first to be nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards, the most in PCA and won PCA.

Jungkook himself has achieved success with three songs he released as a solo artist. The songs are "Stay Alive", "Left and Right" and "Dreamers". Jungkook's new milestone has certainly succeeded in making his fans proud.

Previously, Jungkook presented a historic stage at the 2022 World Cup Opening Ceremony in Qatar. Even his appearance was called the Minister of Culture of South Korea Park Bo Gyoon in his speech opening 2023.

Minister Park Bo Gyoon said Jungkook was said to have turned the Qatar 2022 World Cup into a dream festival through the stage "Dreamers".
