ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, and Sung Joon received special gifts from the writer of the webtoon 'Island' ahead of the premiere of this exorcism fantasy drama.

The TVING drama "Island" has become one of the most anticipated by fans since last year. The drama adaptation of this webtun is known to star Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, ASTRO's Cha Eunwoo, and Sung Joon.

The drama version of "Island" is getting high enthusiasm considering the popularity of the drama as well as the famous celebrities who star in it. The author of the original webtun "Island", Yang Kyung Il also gave special gifts to the cast ahead of the premiere episode.

TVING shared new individual posters of Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo, and Sung Joon's characters. Interestingly, the posters are combined from the visual webtun "Island". So, the four of them are like coming out of the webtun on the poster.

The visuals of the webtun characters who play "Island" also look different compared to the original version. It turns out that writer Yang Kyung Il deliberately drew a new version adapted to the visuals of the cast of the drama "Island".

"The sync level poster released this time is the poster drawn by the original author, Yang Kyung Il for 'Island' which was reborn as the original TVING drama," TVING said.

"This is a newly created poster with reference to the characteristics of the characters and the synchronization level of the actors, and offers a fresh look to those who see it as if it appeared in the real world," continued TVING.

TVING also hopes that "Island" will receive a lot of love from fans. Moreover, the actors are considered to have brought their characters to life in great detail.

"I would like to ask your interest in the performance and performances of the cast, which will bring each actor to life through detailed character analysis," TVING said.

"Island" itself is a fantasy drama that tells of a dark secret hidden on the beautiful Jeju Island. Even the chosen ones are destined to fight the evil forces that are trying to destroy the world.

Meanwhile, "Island" itself will be premiered on Friday (30/12). This drama will fill the broadcast slot on Friday and Saturday. "Island" was revealed to have a total of 12 episodes and is a pre-release drama as it finished filming before its broadcast. (wk/alpha)
