Jian or whose full name is Kim Jian, was recently reported to have left Cube Entertainment's girl group, LIGHTSUM with Huiyeon.
After the statement released by the agency a few days ago, on October 30, 2022, Jian has officially joined Instagram with an account that has the username @jian.x_x, where he uploaded a handwritten letter and his latest photo.
Not only in Korean, Jian also prepared a letter in English, especially for his global fans.
“Hello SUMIT! This is Jian.
You must be shocked by the sudden news right… I've been thinking about how to convey this news to fans and I decided to do it through a letter.
I debuted with a group called "LIGHTSUM" when I was in 3rd grade of middle school and currently I'm a high school student. It's all because of SUMIT that I was able to grow while having great experiences in a short time, and also get so much love.
To SUMIT who came all the way to see our performance on stage, who came to see me despite the heat and rain and always gave warm words of support. To overseas SUMIT who supported me from afar through messages and video calls… I will never forget the precious moments we shared together. Of course there are times when I'm tired and going through hard things, but I can endure it only because of your support. And now, about a year and 4 months later, I'm a much stronger person, I believe that.

Jian, the girl who was born on November 4, 2006 made her debut with LIGHTSUM on June 10, 2021. During her debut, Jian was the youngest idol among all K-Pop idols.
