Park Min Young's Agency Hook Entertainment Raided, Federal Agent Deployed

Park Min Young's agency Hook Entertainment was raided by the authorities. SBS Entertainment Reports Several Federal Agents Dropped Off at the Crime Scene.

Shocking news came from the South Korean entertainment world. Park Min Young's agency, Hook Entertainment, was raided by the police. A number of agents were dispatched to conduct a search of the agency offices of a series of well-known actors.

On Thursday (10/11), agents from the Korean National Police Agency raided the Chungdam office belonging to the Hook Entertainment agency. The relevant agency oversees Park Min Young, Lee Seung Gi to Youn Yuh Jung.

Reports from SBS News stated that the agents searched the office for evidence from 12 noon to 5 pm. Since it is so rare for federal agents to be brought down for agency investigations, the reasons for the raids have not been revealed.

According to SBS News, three companies related to Park Min Young's ex-boyfriend, Kang Jong Hyun, were also raided. However, to confirm whether the Hook Entertainment raid is related to this has not been confirmed.

SBS News said, "Recently, three companies that have ties to Kang Jong Hyun were raided. However, according to entertainment insiders, the raids (at Hook Entertainment) have nothing to do with him but because of internal management issues," said SBS News.

Previously, media outlet Dispatch accused Park Min Young's ex-girlfriend Kang Jong Hyun of having ties to several companies including Hook Entertainment. This exposure is considered burdensome for Kang Jong Hyun's position.

Meanwhile, the Chief Prosecutor ordered Kang Jong Hyun's departure ban on October 27. The ban stated he was a person of interest in an alleged embezzlement case involving Bithumb, South Korea's largest crypto exchange. Kang Jong Hyun is suspected to be related to the company. (wk/inta)
