OMEGA X Successfully Obtained A Patent Of The Name Of The Group And Their Fandom In The Middle Of Problems With The Agency, Spire Entertainment After Being Said To Be A Victim Of The CEO's Persecution.

Today, Monday (14/11) OMEGA X through their attorneys revealed that they will soon hold a press conference with the media. This press conference will be held on Wednesday (16/11).

OMEGA X's legal representative revealed that the press conference will be held at the Seoul Bar Association building in Seoul's Seocho area. This press conference is to reveal the current position of OMEGA X as well as their future plans.

OMEGA X itself was later reported to have completed trademark registration of their group name. OMEGA X through Law Firm S. registered 3 names at once related to the group.

"오메가엑스", "OMEGA X", and "FOR X" have been registered with the Korean Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS) since last Monday (7/11). These names can also be seen directly on the KIPRIS official website and are not listed as owned by Spire Entertainment. The name of the group registered by the agency is known to usually be written with the name of the agency.

OMEGA X which has obtained this trademark right means that they are safe to use their group name even after leaving the agency and do not have to ask for permission to use it. Members who leave the agency are known to find it difficult to use the group name if the patent is in the hands of the agency.

Meanwhile, this OMEGA X press conference is certainly related to the hype reports that they were victims of abuse by the CEO of their agency, Spire Entertainment in Los Angeles, United States after their solo concert. The agency itself seems to hint that the problem has been resolved.

However, OMEGA X actually admitted that they received threats from the agency if they uploaded something without permission on social media. In addition, it was revealed that the CEO forced OMEGA X to keep performing when 4 of its members tested positive for Covid-19 and imposed an unreasonable contract termination fine. (wk/alpha)
