Jin BTS Turns Out To Be Disappointed In Himself When Recording 'The Astronaut'

Jin BTS Apparently Was Disappointed While Recording His Solo Debut Single 'The Astronaut'. Jin Reveals That Disappointment During Sound Check With Chris Martin Coldplay.

Jin BTS this time shared a video of his hard work in the process of producing his debut single, "The Astronaut". In the video, Jin also made an unexpected confession. During the recording sound check process with Chris Martin Coldplay, Jin admitted that he had felt very disappointed while recording the song "The Astronaut".

This was revealed through the latest vlog video on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel which was uploaded on Monday (14/11). The video entitled "WoottaeView: Observation log of Woottae's Jin 'The Astronaut' album production" shows the recording process of Jin BTS's debut single, "The Astronaut".

At the beginning of meeting Jin and Chris Martin for an online sound check via video call, the coldplay vocalist gave some input on the recording process. One of them, Chris wanted a change in a number of parts.

"It will sound much better after the changes and he wants you to try the last part in your natural voice," said the translator, translating Chris Martin's words to Jin in the video.

Jin then gave an unexpected response. Jin asked the translator to tell Chris that he was actually very disappointed with the results of his own recording.

"Please tell him, I was very disappointed in myself while recording this song," said Jin BTS, which Chris Martin immediately refuted.

Chris said that the recording of Jin's voice was good. However, changes were made to make the song "The Astronaut" even more brilliant.

"No, you're great, it's very good. For the first pass, great, but we can do it brilliantly together," explained Chris Martin.

Jin and Chris Martin finally started the sound check process for the recording. Even though he had to retry several times, Jin also seemed to have successfully implemented Chris' input. Jin himself was also finally satisfied with the result.

"You did very well, you sound amazing. Thank you for being patient, thank you for trying," said Chris Martin at the end of the sound check session.

"Thank you, I love you," Jin said before they parted ways. "I love you too," concluded Chris Martin. (wk/amel)
