Shadow Detective, is the latest drama that aired through Disney+ Hotstar, where this time Kpop Chart had the opportunity to chat with the cast.
Tells the story of a senior detective who is about to retire, wanting to end his tenure in peace. However, a call from someone claiming to be an old friend, turns the end of his job complicated.
Lee Seongmin, Jin Gu, Gyeong Sujin, and Lee Hakju sat down together to discuss their drama, Shadow Detective, which is the first classic detective drama for the veteran South Korean actor. "I want to show a different color through appearances in this drama," he said.
Discussing preparations before acting as a detective in Shadow Detective, Jin Gu admitted that he did not prepare anything special, "I thought it was different people," said the actor who had previously played various characters such as lawyers or soldiers.
The plot and dense events in Shadow Detective also succeeded in making Gyeong Sujin choose this project, he admitted as the charm of the drama directed by Han Donghwa. While Lee Hakju mentioned that he learned a lot from his seniors, changing his mindset in playing a character, "I learned the broad scope (of a drama) and how all the scenes are interconnected."
