The mobile game BTS Dream: TinyTAN House has reportedly been discontinued by the developer. This was announced directly by Netmarble as the developer in collaboration with HYBE Labels.
BTS Dream: TinyTAN House is a game that features BTS idol characters in the form of TinyTAN, and combines rhythm challenges with house development.
Launching Allkpop, Thursday (27/10/2022), this game was previously promoted as a game where fans can interact directly with TinyTAN members themselves.
"We have done a lot of beta testing in Canada, Thailand, and other countries, and found that there is a significant gap between the preferences of BTS fans and regular users. Since we didn't get the results that match our plans, we have decided to discontinue further game development after discussing the findings with HYBE Labels," Netmarble wrote in its official statement.
Currently, HYBE Labels and Netmarble have introduced three mobile games about BTS, including BTS Island: In the SEOM, BTS World and BTS Universe Story.
With the failure of the development of BTS Dream: TinyTAN House, Netmarble is believed to be moving on to the next project which also features BTS under the name Project B.
According to local media reports, Project B is a game featuring members of TinyTAN as well as a cooking simulation.
In response to the report, a representative from HYBE Labels quickly gave an official statement.
"We will announce new updates at a more convenient time," wrote HYBE Labels.
